A rather time consuming but incredibly pleasurable process of hand printing posters from cut out rubber stamps. These will be limited to 25 of each colour. Available free to the first 25 attendees of the gig or purchased through the Run of the mill shop

A nice little project to make use of some of the random images I have collected over the years. Using the traditional classification system of animal, vegetable, mineral to create sets of A2 posters that will be on sale framed and unframed.

A continuous series of tiny events is venturing into a bit of bookbinding as the cold nights draw closer. Probably just the odd pretty notebook or surf journal, mainly along the proviso of remodeling and amending old stuff.
They will be available to buy through Esty or some other such shop once they start piling up.

My friend Ed came to stay with me in Saltburn for a couple of days. The weather was dubious but one evening proved pretty dramatic. Storms out at sea and a setting sun cast long shadows over the sand dunes. It was an absolute delight to hang out and dig moats.

Recently I was lucky enough to meet the chap who is the creator behind de Lacy handmade leather bags. Each bag, wallet or belt is made completely by his own talented hands.
There may possibly be some business card and swing tag designs coming shortly, which I am pretty excited to be working on. In the mean time check out his work through the website or Etsy.

It seems like I missed crab day at Saltburn beach this year but there are still quite a few kicking around.
Still not too sure how I feel about these fancy retro camera functions on my phone but I guess you have to try things out right?
I might photograph a crab a day and dedicate each one to a person that I know likes crabs. At the moment I'm only aware of two people so it might be a very short project.

I am absolutely smitten with these old American beach resort postcards. A very trendy band, Best Coast, recently did their album cover with their name written this way. It worked brilliantly and looked really contemporary.

I've been wanting to do a series of Saltburn Surf posters for some time now. Celebrating the longevity of the surf scene that has been happening here. Picturing the amazing coastline and the great surf for both long boarders and short boarders. I reckon this is my inspiration to get started.

The old becomes new again

Just been rifling through some old photos and stumbled across these treats. Taken on a Cosmic Symbol that an old friend gave to me after winning it in a lucky dip. I later designed his tattoo so I think the exchange was fair and square. The camera has subsequently been dropped and may have broken but I'll test it out today and see how she gets on.

So me and a rather new but truly adorable friend will soon be heading out to Berlin. I have been promising myself a trip there for well, lets say the last 8 years. Past boyfriends have got great pals there, bands on my label have toured there repetitively, brilliant things happen there and still I have not gathered my bollocks together and gone. So finally, upon meeting Liam and discovering our shared lack of Berlinesque frequentation we decided to book some cheap Ryanair tickets and bugger off over the royal wedding. Seems a rather fitting place to go. Especially when i can be visiting this place The Museum of Things

If anyone can advise me on other superb places to visit on my trip then I would love to know. I'd love to say I'll be adding some amazing photos and anecdotes but who really gives a crap anyway!?

Something I have been meaning to do for years

Cherry Tree avenue in Saltburn's Valley Gardens. Second week of May they always start to shed their blossom onto the path and wooden benches. It always fills me with joy to walk under them.

Finally got round to updating my website. All old work but it needed to get it up there and was stalling horrendously.

New Quack Quack CD packaging is back and I am so proud, although the pressing plant did mess it up! Will get photos shot and uploaded while have this surge of enthusiasm.

I still haven't worked out why I decide to complicate every project i undertake and set myself far too much work. 100 card wallet sleeves painstakingly printed, hand cut, folded and glued in one evening, ready for posting the following morning. Loss of feeling in my scalpel holding fingers for 3 days after. They did look good though.

I need help...in locating irritating gaps. I started a project many moons ago and am revisiting it. It began by taking photographs of unconsidered spaces, you know when someone builds a shed next to a shed and leaves a gap that is not big enough to use?
Well if you have noticed any of these could you please let me know where they are or take a snap and post them on here. I am mainly looking for structural/architectural/man-made examples but if you come up with anything different then I would be keen to see.
